Gender and Equity in Bioenergy Access and Delivery in Kenya

This study looks at the traditional and modern bioenergy supply options in Kenya from a gendered perspective. It looks critically at key gender issues in bioenergy and indoor air pollution, in energy access and availability, and in energy pricing. The study concludes that modern bioenergy options provide opportunities both for women and men, under the condition that gender issues are properly integrated right at the start of an intervention.
