The invitations for the development of full proposals under the Gender and Energy Research Programme were sent on 15 September. Three consortia were selected for each of the 5 themes.

The deadline for the submission of the Full Proposals is 27 October 2014, 12:00 CET. You will benotified of the results of the selection process on 17 November 2014.
The research is planned to start on 1 January 2015. The research will consist of two phases.Phase 1 will last until December 2015, and continuation of the contract beyond this date willbe subject to successful completion and evaluation of Phase 1 outputs. Phase 2 will be from1 January 2016 – 31 December 2018.

A new Budget Format (Annex B – Budget Template 22-09-2014.xlsx) has been provided. Please use this format to develop your budget.
Notification: Guidance notes for the development of a full proposals:
- The issues listed under the description of Research Areas (section 3) are possible key issues, as in the request for Expressions of Interest, and are therefore not restrictive.
- The maximum number of words for section 3 in the proposal (Research Approach) is 2000.
- Please add the word count for each section in which a word count is required.
A new Project Proposal Format (Annex A – Proposal Template 22-09-2014.docx) has been provided, with the word count guidance as above.
